it's called a 500hp V8 in the ZO6....
where does it say it has 268hp.?

yup, it's getting the C6 Corvette's LS2 6.0L engine..
still, nice to see Toyota FINALLY putting power into things..

damn that, put it in the Chevy mini-pickup and lower the bitch like the old S10 Xtreme, and then i'd buy one.
it still won't beat the Grand Cherokee SRT-8 - 6.1L 450hp HEMI.

hey guys i tought this topic was about the 268HP 3.5 V6 in the new Rav4, not about chevy trailblazer or the grand cherokee srt-8, i think that's a lil off topic,................ now getting back to the Rav4 i think it will be one of the fastest if not THE fastest suv in it's segment with the Avalon's 3.5 V6, but it would be a whole lot better if it had the IS350's 3.5, that would be awesome.......................

This may be a retarded question but if the Rav4 received a six cylinder engine, shouldnt its name change from Rav4 to Rav6?
I was once told by someone that the 4 stood for 4 cylinder which made some sense to me...
