Turn signal and emergency flasher relay

Anyone know where this thing is located? What needs to be removed to get to it. I have a repair manual on order , but until I get it I dont have any turn signals. I bought a flasher from Pep Boys but they have they Haynes and Chiltons shrink wrapped so you cant peek.

not sure where the flasher relay is. I would think it is either inside the steering column or under the dash. I will look at my manual tonight and see if I can find it.

Flasher relay is behind the dash panel on the lower left side of the steering wheel.
