I thought I'd share a video on one of my Saturday night highway cruises We did a couple of pulls on an empty stretch of highway (highway was closed that night...please do not attempt ). The video is mostly composed of shots of my Camry, so enjoy
Cars shown in video:
- Audi A4 1.8T with K04 turbo, DP, exhaust, FMIC, chip, etc..
- Volvo 850 turbo with chip and intake (camera car)
- 2004 RSX Type-S with bolt-ons
The video pretty much describes the outcome of the race. Each of the runs I would hit the throttle after letting the other car go first which makes it a complete kill no questions asked! Among those cars, I was the car making the most power anyway... The runs were purely one-sided with my Camry being the bully and roughly overpowering them by an extra 150 - 200 WHP give or take
Thanks to Mike aka 328DTM (member of Maxbimmer) for compiling and shooting the video
EDIT: edited some info of the cars... Since I wasn't able to get the info from the owners, I figured I'd take down the numbers to prevent any possible controversial matters
psht... still a camry man, you got an intake or something on that? j/k
i really like the rear kit on that audi btw - some guy around town here has one and i think it is a nice attention grabber
very nice again though i love vids - i need to get off my butt and do one with carl and alex once he gets his ride all finished up, we got some roads out here in the country that could make for some fun clips and there are not many people out at nights

Wow, you car is so damn fast... I WANT IT! haha... that Audi has the stock k04 turbo... is it APR chipped, Revo or another one?
No idea, but I know it's not APR... The Audi guy wasn't really my personal friend, but my friend's friend who happened to come along. He said K04 turbo, not stock, probably an upgraded unit. He never mentioned the brand of chip either. Problem with those guys is that they couldn't give me the basic specs on their turbo but rather go by "slangish" street terms which I have no idea what the hell they were referring to Either way, it's a nice car and definitely lives up to his claims. On the runs, he mentioned his clutch was slipping as well, but shouldn't matter because I already blew by him before he managed to shift gears anyways...
EDIT: I took out the power numbers on the Audi and RSX... I wasn't able to get the details on their setup because the owners were keeping their setup hush hush. I will take down the numbers to prevent any unproven claims & numbers

looked like fun tony, gotta love the sound of your turbo spooling up
what kind of bolts-ons did the rsx have? my buddy turbod his type-s and is only makin 170 at the wheels
That's messed up... Like most problems, it has to be tuning related plus being really low boost. Stock Type-S is supposed to put down anywhere between 160-165 WHP... I've already seen a handful of bolt-on RSX with Hondata K-pro, intake, header and exhaust push 190 WHP.
