2007 Lip Spoiler
Does anyone know how the Spoiler is put on the 2007? Is bolted or is adhesive used? Also is heavy enough to require an adjustment to the trunk springs?

I'm fairly certain its both bolted, and glued with adhesive. And I doubt you'd have to do any trunk spring modifications.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

My spoiler will come next week (from Ebay), I'll post the instruction then, if available.

bolts are all you need. sometimes ppl think glue is used because a pad is used between the bootlid and spoiler to fill in the gap so no moisture gets in.
also use some silicon grease for the holes drilled so it doesnt rust.

It's an OEM Toyota lip spoiler from Toyota dealer selling on Ebay. Sorry for the confusion :-)

Per their ebay's description the spoiler is pre-painted (they ship the color I specified) along with installation kit and instruction. I'll update when receiving it next week.

I want the lip spoiler, but am concerned that as a dealer-installed option, it may rust (assuming a you need to drill into the metal).
Is my concern warranted? Those who installed non-factory spoilers (for any car), have you had a problem with rust over time? Thanks.
P.S. yuemhoai, I look forward to you update.

After the holes are drilled, you need to apply paint to the exposed metal around the holes. This will prevent rust.

Per UPS tracking, the spoiler will be deliver tomorrow I'll try to put it in during weekend if possible.
BTW, just finished installed the OEM mudguards. The two front ones are easy, for the rear ones I needed to take wheels off and drilled into the side of bumper but still not too difficult.

I think the lip spoiler on the 07 Camry is a little too subtle. I don't think I would notice the difference too much if I was behind a Camry with one or without one. On the Gen 5's, the spoiler is clearly defined and brings an obvious sportier look to the vehicle. Just my $.02.

I have one on order from the Dealer too. I also asked those same questions and they assured me that it will be protected from rust. I also have the extended warranty on the paint and interior so I will not worry about it...too much.

i got an oem spoiler off of ebay for my gen 4 cam, i havent installed it, and will not install it myself after seeing what was under the carpet of my trunk lid.
sigh...gunna need to drop my car off for half a day and fork over anywhere from 100-200 dollars just to get it installed.
the 07 LIP spoiler is probbaly just two simple bolts and the rest adhesive.

When you say "Rear Lip Spoiler"ou mean this? This is Glued, and Taped down with some really sticky strong tape.
When you say "Rear Spoiler", you mean this? This is Bolted into the trunk.
