Gen6 Body side moldings-Who's got 'em?

I'm waiting for my Toyota part side moldings to come in and the dealer will do the install.
At a cost of $140 negotiated at the sale.

The molding won't protect the car from all dings but will help a lot.
I like the look without the moldings and haven't seen a '07 with the moldings yet.
Still want the added protection they provide.

Who's got 'em?

I had my dealer install them at a cost of 141 for molding and 190 for labor. Then I noticed the e brochure on the Toyota site for the Camry and they are listed under Accessories and the suggested price (MSRP) for molding plus installation is 195! They footnote it with "Dealer prices may vary". I went back to the service manager and he refunded some of my money so as to match the price in the brochure.

Dealer quoted me $200 after the sale.
I haggled them down to $140.

Thanks,Evan.
The look isn't bad at all.

I had already purchased car and had the molding installed about 2 weeks later. You did good! I always say, "Never pay retail"

PS Are the Casinos still closed?

Yup, colored matched. I wouldn't go with the generic black ones, unless your car is black.

That sucks.
They'll just chip black.
I just bought a toyota super white and clearcoat touchup pens from autovisuals.com.
I like the chip-mender touchup pen but the site seems to be down or they're being sued.

During a search I came up with

Plaintiff and counterdefendant Chip-Mender, seller of automotive paint touch-up ... Defendant filed counterclaims against Chip-Mender and its founder and ...

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. Mines the same color as my car, grey. I don't think Toyota makes plain black ones. All Toyota sells are colored matched body side molding.

So you think they're silver plastic not just painted silver.
I'm hoping the factory white moldings I'm getting are white through and through.

They won't chip if the flex agent (used even for Polyurethane kits) are added. But personally, you park next to anyone, you'll get dings sooner of later. Remember not all cars/trucks doors open at the height of the door moulding.
