Shifter LED - Which color? **PICS included**
So I changed my shifter light, but i'm having a hard time choosing the color. I bought a blue and a white LED.
The white goes great with the car and looks classy, but the blue is HOT!!!

Blue

White

Any color is better than the nasty green, IMO.
Also, credit goes to mtnet2000 for being the first.

i would use red cause it doesn't distract your nighttime vision or white cause blue is illegal should a cop pull up alongside of you

why would blue be illegal? its your interior, you can use any lighting you want. in any case, blue looks awesome, my interior lighting is slowly being changed to all blue.

ahh laws over in my part of the country are different i guess. any blue is illegal since that color is reserved for law enforcement.

even in the interior? thats pretty strict... although i think you can get away with it. i doubt cops are enforcing it very often (at least for interior lighting that is)

I don't think you'll get pulled over for this mod... its not like a bright blue light that's being shot straight up so everyone can see... its just enuff to brighten up the shifter console.
I might do a how to if the demand is big enuff... not that hard to do, but really busy today

I know... i like how it makes all the letters blue as well... makes me want to change out the whole dash to blue... i might do that down the road...
And the stock color is green... i can't believe automakers still use green...
