Slider Group Buy

i'm gonna start a new thread for this. i'm including a poll to find out what model slider most members here want. i THOUGHT that i wanted the heavy duty bolt on. but now i'm thinking i should go with the heavy duty weld on and have a local shop weld it on for me. plus it is a BIG savings in money, which i think will help more people get in on this group buy. which in turn helps us all out by getting a bigger discount. thats just my opinion though.

PLEASE: Only answer the poll if you are serious about following through with the group buy.

i don't want false numbers to throw everything off when it actually comes time for people to pony up the money.

So i'll start with this and then go from there

I'm interested, just gotta see if I can scrounge up some money without the warden finding out. That's why I haven't voted yet. I would definately go for bolt on though.

Is there a place that we can see the 3 styles to see the differences?

I would want the HD bolt on sliders w/o the powder coat. I think it was Adventure North that said that these are alot cheaper than the ones with the powder coat.

Before I vote, do you have a discount scale for us to consider? I'd go for the HD weld ones, but as it is they are still $100 more than wabfab or 4xI even before shipping. If we can drop the price some more by skipping PC, and if these are ready to weld on (meaning, no extra assembly like the wabfab, 4xI, or DIY version of Demello's) then I could probably deal with the price difference. I can weld, but i'd feel better having a pro do it as long as it's not gonna cost me an extra $300 or something!

I'm in for weld ons if I can get them shipped USPS. I think if they ship seperately they will go.

You guys should know that the weld ons and the rock crushers shown on Demello's page are NOT powder coated, that is an option and an extra charge. The bolt on's shown on their page do include powder coating in the price. Just something to think about.

See, I can't imagine getting the weld on ones because I change my mind a lot. Also the bolt on one I would be able to take off and repaint when they are used, which would be nice. When there's an estimate of the price(s) let me know

Ah yes... I see that now... So much for getting them for less without that.

Anyone else frustrated with Demello's site? Am I the only one that has to check it several times to get all the info? Anyway, it would be nice if they had drop down boxes or something to select options they offer before adding it to the shopping cart. As in, regular cab vs extended cab vs double cab and PC vs no PC, and additional cost for each. I mean, I've added a few things to the cart to see the price and shipping, but then you proceed to paying for them without adding in the cost of the options before sending the payment. So what do they do? Charge you later for the extras? I would also assume that double cab sliders would need to be longer than regular cab ones. What do you do? Put the cab size the comment section before sending the payment, hope they read it, and send the right ones? I guess that's why I didn't buy any a few months ago when I first heard of them. I wasn't sure how to make sure I got the right ones.

Phone. For big item purchases I always call, that way I know I'm getting what I want and what I'm suppose to. The guys at Demello are awsome to deal with, and their customer service is top notch.
