Drop in K&N's do basically nothing until 5000 RPM.
I would think there would be a warranty issue installing the unit.

Forgot to mention, it's a short ram intake, not a cold air intake.

me and my friends... the bolt is so weak... and you have to put on a bracket for the intake and have to have it on the throttle body bolt... and when we try to make it tight it freakin broke off.. lucky it didn't get stuck... i just have to wait till the bolts come so i can do some real testing on the intake... but right now... it seems the accerration is smoother...

For 292 bucks it better do more than a drop in. Now if I add port holes and side scoops I could have the first Ram Air K&N short ram intake! Stoked.

325.00 is a lot of $$$ for nothing.
i dont believe you get anything out of the upgrade.
if anything i would worry about my gpm getting lower.
i would do the upgrade if it were less than 100.00, i would do it just for looks, nothing else.

As long as someone is comfortable in getting it for looks, then that's fine in my book.
If they're expecting to get a huger increase in power, then they're in for a rude shock when they finally realize that it's not as useful in that sense than they imagined.
The MSRP is a bit high in my opinion, but hey if you're willing to spend that $$ to dress up your engine bay, go for it. I'd rather use that money and get a reputable 4500K HID kit.
