Honestly, it shouldn't be that hard.
To replace the evaporator in my car, removing the dash is the easy part....

1) Removing sound deadening (he can't spell either) - 15 hours of your time
2) Adding Heat to interior - Bonus of step 1
3) Adding engine noise to increase mental dyno - Yet another bonus
4) Dash Rattles - Bonus, Bonus, Bonus
Making a DYI of the most ridiculous rice project ever (as designated by fellow ricers) - PRICELESS

LOL that's unbelievable! I always made fun of Civic drivers, but this reaches a new low!
Well remember...I4 + VTEC = V6.
If you wanna shed 5 pounds off the car's weight, go take a long piss and shit before you drive.
And as another ricer suggested on that forum...why not start with removing the spare tire? Or remove whatever giant CD collection he has in there, or car manual, maps, etc. All that stuff can add up easily, and costs almost no time to remove.

You forgot the smiley
And BTW..it's got nothing to do with the make of car. It's what they do to them.

Agreed. There's nothing wrong with Hondas as a vehicles. In fact, I do believe that the Civic (this new gen one) is the dealer in its class. But I know that I will never ever buy one because then I'd be associated with the group of people who usually drive them.
