Stewart Auto drops Corvette off a lift...
I have been following this thread on a Corvette forum that I'm a part of:
www.corvetteactioncenter.com
Stewart Automotive group in Colma, California (near San Francisco) dropped this guy's C5 Vette' off the lift and they're trying to play it off like it's minor damage.
Check out this thread:
http://corvetteactioncenter.com/foru...ad.php?t=50014
The pics on are page three. Check them out and spread the word about this injustice!

Hey Edmond. If you could save the pictures to your computer then upload them to TN we would appreciate it becasue nobody wants to register just to see them.

That is some major bullshit. It is hard to imagine something stupider than dropping a car off a lift. Anything less than a replacement of GREATER value (for lost time, etc) is unacceptable in my opinion.

Shit, in the third to lsat pic, there looks like a crack in the frame.
I for one would not take the car, I would ask for a car that is equal or greater to the value of my car. C'mon it was a 97 with only 40K miles....
I would also get remburistment for travel expenses for each day I was without my car.

i would seriously get a lawyer and get a new car, you have no idea what possible internal damages could be inside.
