Both. It's lowered with TRD springs, but not clear they were really designed to handle the weight of the battery. There's a thread in the forum about Hybrid problems with the TRD springs - unfortunately I didn't see it until I'd already had them installed. Some say you should use SE springs on the rear and TRD on the front. Others have just taken them off. Jury is still out for me.

Another option would be air bags-either Air Lift or Firestone (basically same thing).
We use them on our Sienna and they work fantastic for compensating for heavier loads. I imagine that with about 10-15 lbs. of pressure in them, your car would sit about right. Of course, the effective spring rate might be unacceptably high...not sure. They aren't very expensive so it might be an option.

You can get Megan Coilovers to settle any sagging issues you have. Contact Moky here on TN for more information about them. They've only been out for a month for the Gen 6 models.
