The houses seem like you are from Canada. Where did you get your tint job? Is it 35%? I have the exact same car and I would like to get a tint in summer.

I'm in Ontario and used Protint. I wanted a consistent look (not darker tint in the rear vs. the front) so I went with 35% all around. It appears darker on cloudy days or at night because of the black interior. Not sure about other tint providers, but Protint's is great at night - I hardly even notice the windows are tinted from the inside.

That's great. Thanks for the info. I am looking for an elegant consistent look just like yours too without making it hard for night driving. 35% is what I have in mind as well. May I know how much did it cost you? Like high 200s?

No problem. I was experiencing problems with my Toyota window visors so the dealer paid to have my windows tinted for me - but I do believe it was in the mid to high $200's. You can visit their site at www.protint.ca and then give them a shout. I went to the Whitby shop near Brock & 401.
Like you, I wanted a more elegant look which was definitely accomplished with a uniform 35% tint - and it really compliments the paint colour too.

Yes, I will. I just realized we are both thinking about the chrome handles too. Cheers. I think body colour handles look sportier and the chromed one add an elegant touch, really not sure if it will look out of place though, may try in summer

Cool. I like the chrome handles on the new Accord and various Lexus'. I'm pretty confident it would look great - I'm just leery of the quality and how they would look just taped over the original handles. Also, if they fade or look like crap, good luck getting them off..... Like you, I'm going to think a bit more about it.
I'm in the process of looking for 18's and rims for the summer - but don't know of any good places in Toronto - do you?

Yes, I got some chrome license plate frame for my gen5 and the salt in winter ruined it, so I decided to use it only during summer. For the handles, I think the quality should be fine, they were treated it like the factory ones. I guess if we decide to get it, just go for the more expensive ones such as the brand the other thread mentioned; I think is Putco (around $90) or something. They also highly recommended Chrome Master's product which cost less. My original concern is will there be too much chrome, since the Lexus ES (i.e. Camry look alike) and Infiniti G have them, I think it should look not bad too. One thing I really wanna do is to lower it but don't know if it will cause trouble during our snowy winter. For tires, I usually go to GreenBay Tires, they do carry quite a lot of OEM and after market rims. However, it would be a little bit far from us I guess. It's located at Bayview/S of Hwy 7; Thronhill/Richmond Hill area. I actually kinda like the GS430 rims (silver, not chrome) but I guess I'll save up some b4 changing the rims. Have fun and post pics once you get it done in summer. Btw..have you done anything to your headlights?

There are a lot of chrome accessories available for the Camry like pillar posts, handles, trunk lids, grilles etc... but like you, I don't want it to be all 'blinged' out. I'm more interested in keeping it aggressive looking, but just make it a bit more unique. I could be convinced to do a front and bumper mesh grille.
I love the look lowered but I don't want to affect ride quality - I suppose it might have some effect too in bad snow storms. Once lowered with larger tires, you loose extra room in the wheel wells.
Thanks for the tip on GreenBay tires. I'll have to keep them in mind when I start looking. I haven't done anything to my headlights as I believe tinting or covering the lights is illegal in Ontario (both front or rear).

Yes, I think Camry is still a mid size family sedan after all, the SE grille is something that I really like about the SE. It has a good balance between look and functionality, it doesn't look like "an old man car" as some people commented. Camry may not be my choice if I was forced to get an LE. I think ride quality that you mentioned is pretty good too compared to my Gen5 SE. The interior layout and silver accent are something that I like too. For the headlights, I just changed the bulbs to white ones so that it has little bit of a HID look with the projectors. All my mods are just going to be minor cosmetic change, making it different from others without looking cheap. I am looking forward to spring so that I can give my car a good hand wash and get the tint and chrome handles done.
