Where do you live?

New or used engine?

Short block, long block or complete engine?

Mike, Houston...........I am looking for Toyota Prius engine to put into my car. I would prefer it to be new but it can be used. I usually do highway driving with some city driving to run shops and personal trips and my current auto does pretty much as great on parkway mileage as the best hybrids out there.

Not sure what kind of car you currently have. The Prius engine isn't a small block Chevy. The original Prius was either an Echo or Yaris with an Atkinson cycle and a CVT instead. The Prius doesn't have a starter. The computer uses the HV battery and the electric drive motor to "spin up" the gas engine, similar to dumping the clutch if your battery is dead. If you only want a 70 hp (no torque spec) Atkinson cycle engine, that can be done. Otherwise, you likely want an entire Prius.
