99 Camry i4 fuel filter copper washer DIMENSIONS?

99 Camry i4 203,000 miles
--------

I am replacing my fuel filter. I went and lost those two little copper washers.

I'm poor, don't want to buy a whole new filter kit just for those two stupid washers.

What are the dimensions of the copper crush washers I must buy at a plumber's supply store..?

Photo included for reference, other photo from Ebay shows the common dimensions for copper crush washers

Howdy,

The washers are 16mm OD, 12mm ID and 1mm thick.

The ones on my Gen3 are aluminum, not sure that it would matter, though, aluminum or copper, for the sealing purpose just noticed it to be the case.

By the way, in the past, when I have had to re-use copper sealing washers if new ones weren't available, I "fluff" the old ones up with a propane torch. Apply the heat until they just change color, and then let cool. This annealing of the work hardening from being used as a sealing washer only works on copper (wouldn't work with aluminum), and because of the metallurgy of copper, it also doesn't matter if you let it air cool or you quench it in water (unlike steel, copper doesn't care how quickly it is cooled, materials property-wise, in this case).

Only copper sealing washers can be revived using this method, aluminum sealing washers are meant to be one-time use.
