The 3VZ and 1MZ sound similar, though I think the 1MZ sounds a little cleaner..

i think sound is really subjective...it all depends on the exhaust specs such as sizing, bends, location of the resonators, length...material type...etc etc
but yea...my exhaust became louder after the SC....i might order a 30"long 6" diameter round muffler as a resonator to add onto my exhaust lol...but that'll be in a while....need to work out other kinks first

Man, this is what happens when I don't log in for 3 days

EEng, that car is getting sicker every day

Be careful with the dynoing, like tony said, high mileage and comp HG don't like being pushed. I think TRD4life was thinking of doing some metal HG's, might be a good idea once you're tuned

had a terrible day yesterday

got stranded....
i was driving on highway doing 120 (km) lol
and suddenly the engine bay started spewing smoke ...
i was scared shitless....i thought i blew my HG
put the double blinkers on...pulled over to the side....and i noticed the engine was revving normally

poped the hood....the high pressure PS line that goes into the hydraulic fan cracked and it's spewing ATF just like when we dynoed the car right after the swap

it was a sunday and no one's around to help...so i got the car towed to my mechanic's shop

today ...went to my mechanic....since they can't fix it cuz it's a custom made line...they just made a temporary rig and made sure i could drive it

and Tony the Tiger came to my help once again....provided me with a big ass stainless steel braided line with two Earl-type fittings each end...

i poped the old line off....pop the new line in...done....took only like...foooorever since the line is so far back lol

maaan....what a rough day
