Installing Headrest Monitors on Camry

My previous car was a 2001 Infiniti I30t. I've removed my whole system (HU, amps, subs, wiring, monitors, etc.) and installed it in my 2003 Camry...except for the monitors.

So in my living room I have 2 - 9" headrest monitors, a 15" flip down and a 3.5" rear view mirror. I've already hooked up and mounted my video amplifier. I'd like to install the headrest monitors next, yet I'm not sure how I go about doing so in regards to installation. The i30's seats had a back panels I could easily remove. The hard part was drilling a hole (per seat) for the wire to pass through. After that it's your basic wiring installation.

My camry has cloth seats, and I'm not sure how to gain access to the back of the seat.

Would someone be kind enough to enlighten me?

Thanks

Hey LeftCoast -

Ti gain access to the back of the seat you have to pop off the plastic backing, then undo some straps for the cloth and such. I'll try to find a video I watched once that detailed taking these apart (it includes removing the cloth to put new ones on).

Thanks for the assistance...much appreciated...BTW, these have cloth seats, not leather.

Is my assumption that I don't have to fully remove the seat cover? and I'll just need to follow the 1st part of the video?

Thanks

Right, you just need to pop off that back plastic housing to route the wiring. You may need to snap the back of the seat cloth off to route appropriately, but you do not need to remove all those rings and such.
