If you buy one, make sure you buy 2-3 extra transmissions too so you can rapidly swap when it breaks.

LOL, I've ridden in a - what's that ugly convertible two-door SUV they make?
One of my friends inexplicably bought one of those dork mobiles, and I told him I'd rather drive the crappy Dodge Diplomat station wagon with no reverse that he used to have...

2000 Corolla CE. 1ZZ-FE, 4 speed automatic
1988 Mustang GT 5.0. 5 speed, lots of mods
1977 F150. Big straight 6, 3 speed manual on column

Oh the Murano CrossCabriolet...

Yeah, for some reason (thinking really hard.... can't quite pinpoint it....) they no longer make those....

We have the Qashqai in Europe, which is pretty much a smaller rogue ( I remember seeing rogues in the US and thought they were qashqais!). The qashqai is one of those cars that is not bad at all, but not especially good at anything. Pretty decent prices, it sells like hotcakes (no wonder it's known as the Nissan Qashqow!). Reliability however is not stellar.
I would expect the Rogue to be very close.

We never got the Murano convertible though. Thank god!

Seems like Nissan and Mitsubishi and Mazda all have always lagged behind Toyota and Honda, when it comes to reliability.

Don't you know by now I like transmission problems? Lol

I'm 2/4 on transmission issues so far. I don't count a clutch replacement or it's 3/4 for transmission issues.

For the hood rod. Mine is presently propped up with a broom handle, upgraded to a rope tied around the garage door opener, holding it up .

Is this part number 53451-90k01 the correct part number for a 1993 hood rod ?

That first part number 53451-90K01 is for an 85-87 Land Crusier.

It's funny. This one says it doesn't fit my car when I enter the VIN, but it shows it as fitting 93-97 Corolla.
53451-12171

This is the one that it says is suppose to fit my (our) car, but it's discontinued, and it doesn't list a "replaced by" part, but perhaps the above one is that.
53451-02030

1990 Corolla DX sedan, 4A-FE, 3-speed auto A131L
233,000 miles and counting...

1997 Corolla DX sedan, 7A-FE, 4-speed auto A245E
213,000+ miles

Looks like I will have a Prop Rood (Hood Prop?) soon!

Happy I finally looked. Now let's see if it "sits loose" in there in where it is supposed to go.. This car is coming along nicely.

I think a long long tie wrap is holding in the corner light, I have to see.

The interesting thing is that Tempests like that had an optional OHC straight six, believe it or not! You could also get that engine in a Firebird. I think it was available from '66 or '67 until '69 or maybe '70/ It was the brainchild of Jon DeLorean I believe.
It was a Chevy 230 or 250 straight six with Pontiac's OHC head on top. Some of them had four barrel carbs too. I don't think they had any multiple carburation available, but it would've been cool. Pontiac should've brought back that engine to put in that little 2-seater sports car they made before they were defuncted.

After lots of trials and tribulations, late nights slaving, i have perfected my Quebecois dish of POUTINE!! Sauce was easy, but getting cheese curds aged just right so they squeak against your teeth like the real thing took a while.

Looks great! I've never had it, but would love to try it.
