10th Gen vs 9th Gen

I'm sorting through ECM and CEL issues on a 2006 Corolla. Are these issues still for the 10th Generation? I've driven 1982, 1992, 1996 and 2006 Toyotas w/ no trouble until this one (the 92 was lost in a 20-inch rainstorm in 1995). I love Corollas, but this one is a problem - Thanks!

You will have to be more specific. CEL and ECM codes come for a variety of reasons, fuel, O2...

All of the above - Nov 29 was ECM, Dec 20 was P1071 (lean gas) Jan 18 was O2 sensor Jan 21 was "no signal to O2 sensor" - now waiting for ECL to come back on and take the car to the dealer (monitoring gas mileage now) - so I'm struggling with this car - before I consider another Corolla, I'm wondering if the next generation is still facing these issues. Thanks!

How many miles? Yes, all modern cars are facing these same issues. Thank the EPA for that. Cars get more and more complicated to comply.
