how to remove light covers?

i just bought 2011 venza V6 AWD, the car is nice and comfy. i just dont like the lights in the car, such as map, dome and door lights....i m thinkin of replacin all of those lights with LED. i m wonderin how to remove the dome lights cover in the rear role? and how to remove the cover for the lights on the driver and passenger door?

p.s. how do i get access on the license plate lights?

Here's a general replacement list for Camry. Most can be transferred to Venza

All LEDs can be easily pried off using a thing flathead, be careful Toyota's cheap plastic can easily be scratched. I have replaced all interior except dash, instrument cluster and glove box light. If you're talking about the rear reading lights. Here and here. Plate lights you need to remove rear panel.

2009 Venza Blizzard Pearl I4 FWD
Done: side moldings, mud guards, hood protector, weathertech window deflectors, interior LEDs
Next: roof rack, nav unit

If you scroll down on the page I said. It lists which bulbs are needed.
Rear Reading Lights (Gen 6/6.5 - sunroof only) - QTY:2 - 194 wedge bulbs
As for prying it out, try to find the notches and pull. That's the easiest way.

It's all the same designer. Look at how small the access panel for changing brake light & signal light. How about you have to pop out the whole back panel just to change the reverse light bulb?

It might be that the engineers never have to maintenance on the car so they only care about how the car look.

It does not make a lot of sense for a lot of things in modern car. But we bought it , so they must have done something right. For me, it is the exterior style and it's engine (Toyota 's reliability is what I bought into).
