Replacing Filler Neck Pipe

Guys, my filler neck pipe is looking like part of the Titanic, it is well rusted. I don't know if it has a hole on the top side of the pipe but once in a while I am smelling gasoline. The engine threw code PO446 about two months ago, it will go off and come once in a while. I haven't seen it in about two weeks. I checked out RockAuto about the pipe and noticed that they have three different pipes. Does anyone know which pipe fits the 98 XLS? I inspected the charcoal canister for cracks and checked the hoses for holes or split ends. I didn't find anything.
Thanks for any assistance.

Puzzled by your questions around pipe type -- it looks like some minor variants, but you would want a pipe that matches yours... or, in the case of the Spectra offerings, to the build date of your XLS. Build date should be on the sticker on your driver door.

P0446 is for the vent control circuit, which usually means a wiring problem to the vent valve and/or something wrong electrically in the vent valve. That is, it isn't necessarily an issue around a leak in the system. Codes for leaks in the system (P0440-043) are triggered by a wrong reading at the fuel tank pressure sensor. Olathe Toyota has a nice writeup: https://parts.olathetoyota.com/p0446-code-toyota.

From what I can tell that spectra premium is the direct replacement part number. It is for cars manufactured up up to 8/98.

Thank you OleAvalon and Lifelongtoyotagirl. My Avalon was made in March of 98 so the spectra premium is a go.
