I Love this thread .......

After watching the friend I sold my '97 Avalon to pass 300,000 miles ... and looking at all the mileage figures in this thread, I am going to quit worrying about how many miles I put on my 09V6 Camry (115K miles.)

Fast forward about 10 years .... and I wonder how many of today's low displacement Turbo engines (AKA 2018 Accord 1.5L & 2.0L and now 2019 Altima 2.0) will make it much past 100,000 miles. They can take their 4-bangers (and CVT's) and shove 'em.

Toyota V6 reliability (both 1MZ & 2GR) just can't be beat.

My 97 Avalon is still going strong at 374k miles. Changed the oil, did an ATF drain/fill, rotated tires, and greased the brake caliper pins today. The leaderboard on the first post is fun.

Mine just went past 252K. Bought it for $1200.00 as a temporary car to use until I found a good one. That was almost 6 years ago.
