It's in my sig.
I have a 96 Avalon XL that I'm giving to my brother. I'm currently repairing it to make it run smoothly for him since it'll be his first car.

Replaced the front struts with Gabriel Ultras from AZ, got them for $116 with a $20 off coupon. The ride is much smoother compared to the very annoying choppy ride from the defective KYB GR2s. A couple months ago I got new warranty replacements KYB Excel-G struts for the rear and they finally broke in nicely.

Today I replaced the AC compressor with another second hand one, filled it with gas and replaced the AC filter.

I also replaced the front brake pads.

My next step would be getting new rotors as the current ones vibrate while braking.

Sharp, just like new!
I would like to do that with my OE's but I don't want to spend what it would take. I will end up bead blasting, epoxy primer and paint, them mount some Blizzaks for the winter for mine.

Gen1 Pollution Control

This week I replaced the rear upstream O2 sensor and vacuum control valve(VCV). The O2 sensor was no longer working. The VCV was intermittently working. After replacing the O2 sensor the car ran rough at idle sometimes. Turns out the VCV was not fully closing the EGR valve periodically at low idle. Now the car runs smooth at the red light and should meet emission standards.

Revamped a bunch of my electrical. (trunk is still a little messy but very manageable)

Currently have no alternator (doesnt stop me from my two hour commute )
No alternator because I had one custom built out of state, shipped, and it doesnt work... shipped back for more TESTING. I put a 110V inlet plug on the rear bumper that when plugged in, runs two 15 amp battery chargers (one on front battery, one on rear)

yanked out all the toyota power cabling to the battery. (starter, main fuse block, transmission ground, replaced with 4awg) Largest cabling is 2/O from alternator to the isolater relay, where O gauge runs to the rear battery and 2 gauge runs to the front battery. New ground is also 2/O gauge to the alternator, strut tower, and front battery.

Trunk houses majority of the 12V distrobution for any accesories ive added on recently. Comparable to an RV with 110V inverter/battery charger and automatic transfer switch. Includes a computer that runs windows 7 for multimeda.

custom tweeter pods from stained wooood housing a morel tweeter

the more popular than i thought cubby-hole filler for GAUGES. and a 6-axis mouse

Its not stained, as i made it from mdf that i sanded down until it fit the space. the wood texture is nothing more than a laminated photo print. works pretty well, except you can tell in bright sunlight like this picture. Gauges L-R: Front battery voltage, rear battery voltage, rear battery outbound current. analog gauge: subwoofer meter (WPM: woofs/wubs per minute)

110V inlet. Oh and i also installed some somewhat-custom-built led underbody lights, more on that later. (if anyone asks/says they are illegal ima smack 'em around a bit)

Also chunkywolf, those cleaned up rims are sweeet

That's some crazy wiring you got going on there. Did you repaint the wiper arms?

Washed mine after 2 months.

Yeah I repainted the wiper arms when i first acquired the car. Holding up pretty well, starting to get a little rusty at the bottom edge though.

I just washed my car today, after a long period of time of quality dust-collection. (probably two months worth too, haha) Sometimes I think its better to leave the car filthy so i don't notice all the imperfections, dings, and scratches!
