TURNS OUT YOU MADE A JIGG007'S DAILY POST THREAD.
The Avalon's Transfer switch, basically it is the AC system automation and distribution.
The outlets are controlled though several relays. AC power is either provided by the 2000W inverter or the bumper mounted inlet. (fun fact: everything full load with all limits removed, this sucker, well sucks 35 amps AC, which is outrageous, normally runs between 8A-15A)
Only runs battery charger while car is plugged in. Provides automatic computer power up and battery de-isolation (ooo, sounds facny) Can supply 45 amps @14V continuously.
Thermostat controls block heater and cabin heater while the car is plugged in, but also has an override mode if I do a cold start (and can't wait for engine heat, but draws a shit-load of power) I have plans to have a timer kick on the inverter and engine block heater an hour before a scheduled leave, like work, where my car is stuck in the middle of a parking lot with no 110V access. But will probably be spring by the time I get off my lazy butt to do that.
If I'm not in the car but the computer(car puter) is on it shuts down the sound system so I don't get any accidental bass tests at 2am due to a CERTAIN SOMEBODY remote-desktoping the carpc.
