Idle Control Valve

I have a 2003 Avalon and I'm getting a P05050. The car runs okay and has not given me any problems just yet. I like to know what is the required ohms allowable on an Idle Air Control Valve as other Toyota dealerships I've called refused to give me the ohms rating. When I tested the connector pins it read 68.5 ohms between 1 and 2, and 38.5 ohms between 2 and 3 pins. Does this mean my idle control valve is defective? any input on the ohms ratings is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info. Do you know how it took before the IACV started to act up again? I heard that its better just to replace the unit because cleaning it is only a short while.

After cleaning the IACV using carb cleaner, what did you lube, the shaft that rotates? What lubricant did you use?

sounds good. I'm assuming you just lubricated the shaft then.

Yes, use a small flat screwdriver to see if it moves freely
