My family's two Avalons

My dad's 1999 Toyota Avalon with 424,746 miles. Only had one timing belt, water pump, and timing belt tensioner replaced around 275,000 miles. Replace the valve cover gaskets at around 346,000 miles.

My 2001 Toyota Avalon 267,723 miles with new timing belt, timing belt tensioner, and water pump. The timing belt didn't break yet but the belt tensioner was worn out. There's a sound that goes "eeeeeeeeeeee" at some start up until driven. Just replaced the valve cover gaskets like 3 thousand miles ago.

Lowered with Vogtland's springs and STAGGS SHS struts.

Actually I think Mikelip 2001 is the current record holder. His 2001 Toyota Avalon has 447,716 miles.

2000 XLS, 277,000 and going strong. Have a CEL problem that is driving us crazy. Take it to Toyota and they just want to sell us a newer one..
