What colour is this Celica?

Came across this picture recently and I absolutely love the colour. Looks like it's from the special edition 'GT' version in the UK.

I'm trying to use http://www.toyotareference.com/celica to find the colour code for it but for some reason I don't think any of the options match it directly.

The closest one would be the 'Thunder Cloud Metallic' (1D2). You can look at some images here http://www.toyotareference.com/1D2_t...orspan20042005

Do you think it's just the way the photo has been taken or is it a different colour?

Could be a custom paint job if you like it look up some Lexus colours they have nice silvers. Or maybe just lighting/Photoshop filters.

If it's a factory color, it's definitely thunder cloud. None of the others are close. I'd say its probably original, but who knows. Silvers can look a lot different based on shadows and light angle. I used to work auto reconditioning, and sometimes you'd touch up a silver car and it would look perfect from one angle and stick out like a sore thumb from another.
