all-trac conversion

I hope Im posting in the right place. I want to take a 5th Gen Celica and basically make it into a J-spec GT-four. I dont want a 3rd or 4th gen all-trac. Does anyone know anyone who has done this or atleast researched it extensively. If not then where should I start? Please dont suggest that I buy a japanese car. That would defeat the purpose of BUILDING my own car. And don't doubt my car fabrication skills. I have a RHD 240sx with a Ca18det that I converted myself in one week. Given a couple months (This up coming winter) I could do almost anything. Thanks for the help.
My current car is below (not painted yet )

OMG... not another one.

Please... Please... Please.... someone put a sticky on this question.

Sorry Temjin, it's nothing against you, but every single week we get the exact same question but with a different thread title.
We have beat this horse to death here.

The cheapest way is to but an Alltrac, the are no bif differences between an Alltrac and a GT4 (JDM/Euro name) except for the ECU in witch the JDM version is programmaed to run on 100 Octane fuel whereas the Alltrac is not.

But take our word for it... buy yourself a nice NADM Alltrac and save yourself a LOT of money AND headaches.

I don't like the way the 3rd and 4th gen's look. If you get this question every week, then some one should stop deleting them. I search and only found one tread. Its like no one on here has ever really considered it, and just bashes the idea down.

If I could take a 5th gen all-trac and convert it to look like a 6th then I would do that. But that also loses some cool points because its not as hard to do as a all-trac conversion

Didn't do a good search tho..

https://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t49468.html

https://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t48315.html

The last one is not exactly a swap but theres a lot of related info... believe me, it's been discussed hundreds of times it's just the title of the thread won't read "GT - Alltrac conversion" on most of the them

There are 6th gen AllTrac, rare but availiable. There are 2 5 gen in AutoTrader already for around CAN$8000.
Basically, the AllTrac got lots of body stengthening, its 500lb more then a GTS. To do a conversion, you first need to chop the under pan to fit the tranny, drive shaft and rear diff. After that you still need to weld it back and add more support. By the time you finish welding, how straight the body will be? I'm not questioning your skill, its a fact that metal twist after so much cutting and welding. Will you be satify with a twisted body after you spend so much time in it? Not me.
Check out the price for a GTS: 5 gen $3000, AllTrac $8000. Can you do the conversion with engine, full tranny for less then $5000? Engine and tranny go for $1500. Say another $500 for rear. You got $3000 to put it in. $60 an hr, its 50 hr, about a weeks work. Its worth while only if the conversion is cheaper then buying the real AllTrac. Al least $1000 saving to me. So you gotta finish the conversion in 33 hr.

why would I want a LHD car? they suck. RHD is so much better. Its a lot more fun to be right next to the person in the car your fucking smoking. Maybe you should read before opening your mouth. I don't want to buy one, I want to build one. If I wanted to buy a RHD 240sx I would have. Its not about what I can buy. Thats just being spoiled. No. Its about what you can do with your own hands. Taking what Nissan or Toyota gives you and making it different or better. Think about all the money you have sank into your car and add it up. What better car could you have had? Maybe a used toyota supra? hmmmm or an rx-7? Im not trying to start something, just asking you to think. If there are so many of these threads point them out to me, as I didn't not find them. Im sure the time it takes you to come up with something whitty like that, you can easily to a search for it, post it, and shut me up that way. Its much better than yelling. I think you wasted more bandwith by using all caps and bold letters to those who are nice and let me know whats up without yelling thank you.

well, you obviously have that "JDM is always better" mentality...

Look, there are no 6th gen Celica Alltracs in the US...

why?

cause they dont exist...

they're all RHD GT-4s...

you cant get what you're asking for...

so if you're such a hot shot that can convert shit, just buy a wrecked gt-4, and a good celica, and try to make a 6th gen all trac yourself...

soon you'll see....

Yes,ass, I am fully aware that there are no rhd 6th gen gt-fours in america. And true I love RHD. But that doesn't mean Im all for the JDM is better thing. RHD is cool because it is different. Anybody can slap some shitty fucking "jdm" lights on their car and be all like "My car is the real jdm shiznit now" It must be tasteful not tacky. The reason I would convert to RHD is because I've done it a few times and I see no problem with doing it again to the Celica. But your missing the point.
Bottem line is. I want a 6th Gen gt-four. And since there aren't any in america and Im not a fan of just out right buying what I want. Im gonna build it. Im looking for some help because Im new to toyota, but have worked on nissans for a number of years. Now cut the shit, I didn't ask for anyone to say what I shouldnt or shouldn't do. I asked for info. Why does everyone always have to be so negetive? I bet the first person to do a 3sgete engine swap caught a lot of shit, but look how that turned out

It good to convert and make something that other can't buy. Why make some thing you can buy? No point at all. What's the point of building a production car? You build one to make it different and better. Building an AllTrac from a GT/GTS is nothing different and not even better. That's why we're so mad. If you want to waste your time building a worse then stock AllTrac, go ahead. If you're building an AllTrac Echo, we'll support you all the way
I'll like to see an AllTrac Corolla GTS.
With the cost factor, I don't even see the point of swapping a 3S-GTE to a GTS. I'll buy an AllTrac and spend time and money modding it then waste my time convert a GTS to AllTrac then start to mod it.
