2008 toyota yaris replaced fuel pump will not start

I have 2008 toyota yaris was running fine.Would not start friday morning.Garage said my fuel pump was bad .They replaced it now can't get it started .Any ideas???Please desperate to get my car home.Thank you.

Check EFI Fuses. Check connections/relay that plug into top of fuel pump. You can do that. Remove rear seat. Remove plate to access top of fuel pump. In fact, with it like that, try to start car. Put key in on position (all the way before 'start/crank)..and see if you hear the fuel pump 'buzzing'..if you do it means the fuel pump is working. No noise = dead pump/still dead pump..so something is not getting power to it. Check fuel pump connections..and the EFI fuse. Can't remember if echo has a fuel shader valve in front can hook up fuel gauge and determine if any pressure reaching engine.



Or, have that shop look at it, since they messed with it last.
