What is this relay?

I think this is some sort of relay but I have no idea what its purpose is. The previous owner hooked a two-way switch in the cab up to this(green wire). It appears that the other end of this switch in the cab is wired into power...possibly on the headlight circuit. I think it was a red with white stripe wire.

Were fog lights a stock option for 86' because I'm pretty sure this is a stock relay that has been rewired to a switch for whatever reason? The car currently has no fog lights but there are some holes in the bumper that make me wonder what was mounted there...

I don't recall any light options in the 80's, unless dealer installed.
