Wheel Hop

Hey all,

I'm new here. I have a 95 3.0 4 runner and when I take off from a dead stop the rear end starts to bounce. I'm not taking off hard either. Sorry if this has been asked before just could use some help.

Is yer 4Runner lifted or on a stock suspension? How old are yer shocks? Are yer springs worn out? Got any piccies of yer 4Runner you can post?

Thanks for replying. It is all stock. Sorry no pictures. It probably could use new springs and shocks. It is starting to squat a little in the back. I was thinking that they could cause it but was not sure. It only does it at take off and not all the time.

Does the yer 4Runner have leaf springs? If so, how worn out are the front and rear spring bushings?
