USA 98 Toyota 4 runner v6 SR5 5 speed Busting back

98 Toyota 4 runner v6, replaced the following: wires, plugs, coil boots, gutted catalytic, new fuel filter, check fuel pressure (46-48 PSI), clean KN filter RESULTS: Accelerated 2,000, start busting back, crank good, idle perfect, no codes reading out. Do anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong with this vehicle? I have done everything to get it in perfect order and is now stumped. Your assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.[/SIZE]

Welcome to Toyota Nation.
First thing I'm going to do is move your question to the correct section.
The V6 in your truck is different from the V6 here in the 1st Gen section where you posted .
You have the 3.4.

Welcome to the forums!

Best thing to do is to hook up a diagnostic OBDII data capturing reader with freeze frame so you can distinguish what is going on.

I'm not familar with the term yer using about busting back.

Is the ECU running in open loop when it is busting back? What is the timing reading? How about the other sensors like the MAF (is it clean), ECT, TPS, crank and cam sensors, etc reading at the busting back issue?
