Power outlet blowing fuses

Th power outlet 15amp fuse blew on the power outlets , so I replaced it and it blew again. I suspect a bad power outlet in the cubby under the flip lid compatment by the shifter.
How do I take it out of there? Are there instructions somewhere? I found some YouTube videos for the center console replacement but not for the outlet in the cubby by the shifter.
Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

No, I replaced the fuse and it blew within a minute. The socket was clean of any debris.

If it's the same as the Tacoma, you'll find pics in this thread. Note the post below the pics where they talk about pressing the plastic tab which lets you pull out the metal part. https://www.toyotanation.com/forum/6...ml#post3859534
