Welcome to the site Dodger.

I assume you have not had this issue in the past? Most I4 or V6s I have had bog down when going up a steep grade; and these 4Runners are not light vehicles.

I know with absolute certainty my 4runner has power loss when switching to 2nd gear. 1st gear seems strong but once it switches over it seems the 4runner kinda struggles on 20+ degree inclines.

Welcome to the forums!

What tire size are you running? If they are bigger than stock, yer gearing is off enough fer the power band.

1998 T-100 SR5 2WD auto, Roadmaster Active suspension, dual oil catch jars, AC mod, aero cap, lower aero package, 67% grill block, aero single wheel trailer
