What are your thoughts on Clear Bra

I am wanting to know what the consensus is on protection provided by a clear bra on the Highlander. Do you like it, hate it. Is it worth it? Thanks.

I had it done and I think it's worth it. I never had it done on my other car and the front end is destroyed. Needs to be painted.

I wouldn't pay the typical dealer prices for one. I also don't like the partial wraps (leaves a line at the border over time) and had a tint show do one for me on the entire hood. I do think they provide good protection.

Iíd recommend it but donít get it done by the dealer any window tint shop does it but you should also have it and the whole car ceramic coated will make cleaning it way way easier.

Clear bra

I had an aftermarket Xpel wrap done on my 2013 Hybrid Highlander when new. For a little more than the dealer quote for just the hood, I had the half-hood, front bumper and grill, headlights and foglights, mirror backs, door edges, door handle cups, and the rear bumper leading edges done. The Xpel product is superior IMHO to the 3M products because it stays pliable and can self heal little scratches and dings. Xpel seems also to discolor less if at all.

I just bought a 2018 Highlander XLE and have an appointment after the first of the year to install the new XPEL wrap. It is worth the cost if you save yourself a few rock chip repairs and I believe it helped in getting top dollar for my trade in.

Not so great looking on real light colours. It yellows after a time.Still better than repainting though.
