New to Toyota and Highlander

Been a long time Honda owner with Accords, Crv,s and a pilot in 2005. We were ready to change our 2010 Crv and cross shopped the Highlander with the Pilot, to be sure we test drove the Highlander twice with a two week interval between test drives. We then drove the Highlander and the Pilot almost back to back on the same day and my wife loved the Highlander. We found the Pilot to be large, a bit noisy on the road and very utilitarian inside, there we feature in it that we would have taken to the Highlander like the true folding flat seat to give a flat cargo area but that is about all.
We purchased a new Highlander XLE with a 7 year platinum warranty and absolutely love the vehicle. It is quiet, material quality is good and everything seems to work really well. An added bonus that our salesman did not discuss is the 3 years of service with the platinum warranty.
Anyway good day to everyone on the forum, I have been reading for a few weeks to get information on the vehicle and it has been very helpful.
Wee are looking forward to many years of trouble free driving in this lovely vehicle. And by the way it is Blizzard white pearl.

Just keep in mind that Toyota oil change interval for synthetics (which is what the Highlander comes with) is 10,000 miles. Anything less and it's on you. Having grown up (and old) with 3k mile oil changes, I go 5,000. It's an extra $90-$100/year, but it makes me feel better.
