Not sure of year for this site, but if bolt size is the same torque should be same as listed.

I used 12 ft-lb, which is on the light side for an 8mm fastener, but I also used a Loctite threadlocking component (blue, 243,) for good measure. For the nuts that fasten the mounting plate to the chassis, I used 40 ft-lb and the Loctite 243.

Best,
Mark

Don't buy reusable Air Filters

I HIGHLY recommend you DON'T use reusable air filters. Reusable air filters have larger holes in them = more dust particles can get in.

Please refer to this study on Air Filters. K&N filters aren't great because they don't filter out dust particles as well as OEM or other filters. They have larger holes in their filters, which allows for more air flow, but bigger holes means more particles can get through and will mess up your MAF.

Yes.

you can clean the MAF sensor with proper cleaner. The oil used on the K&N units are known to cause MAF issues. this is no secret.

Using a dry filter is best. there are high flowing dry filters out there.

I have 99,000 miles on my 2007 Tacoma, just about all of it with the same filter. I have no concern at all.

I second that!

I should update it soon as I found more new information regarding some engine performance upgrades.

I just want to know if the V6 catback will fit the I4

I mean its pretty much the same flanges and whatnot, the same tunnel, even if it requires a small modification, thats an easy fix with a bandsaw and tig

x2

the dealer told me there is a dual TRD exhaust for the i4 coming out but i wont hold my Breath on that... Also they were saying the XSP borla exhaust fits the camry i4 cause it was an option for the XSP i4 and V6 models. Hoping next week to have solid answers

Hmm, I wonder if finding an SE with front end damage might be worth grabbing the cat back off it, then cutting, fabbing, and tig'ing it to make it an OEM dual exhaust.

The mounting points would have to be relocated, tip flipped and re-welded, and the piping cut on both pipes to make a "Y"

It could be done.

With half the flow going thru each of the mufflers, I dont see it as a restriction like the single route and it'll stay quiet.

After looking at the schematics, Its just easier to cut and weld on the V-6 version.

I see that weapon r has a header for the 2014 camrys, anyone know if it would match the exhaust on the 15-up? I know the header will fit the motor no problem but wondering if the s-pipe will match with the 15-up
