Thanks given number way to low

I just notice this recently, think it is currently at 17 since I joined while thanks given to me is in the mid 200s. Not a huge deal but it does make me look like I'm a jerk who doesn't thank anybody. Not sure what would resolve this issue and it is not a great cause for concern. If it's simple to fix fine otherwise don't worry much.

Odd. I see you’ve given thanks 130 times, and received 103.

Sorry old man's brain fart. I'm looking at likes and thinking thanks. My apologies for wasting your time.

Remember that there are "thanks" and "likes"
Most people will hit "like" when they like a post (it's a hell of a lot better than a bunch of "+1" posts)
I pretty much reserve "Thanks" for a post that is a direct answer to my own question, where I don't feel the need to reply, but want to thank the poster.
I hand out "Likes" like Halloween candy

I try to use likes and thanks for good responses especially data relevant to my experience. I don't like to get all snotty with people.
When I actually learn something that adds to my personal knowledge base (since April 1969) I thank the poster versus a repepative reply. I use like more rarely when a reply really addresses the issue and gives the OP a real step in the direction towards a solution.

My brain at 68 is not what it used to be and I know that but grudgingly which means I make stupid mistakes and it takes longer to recollect knowledge from long ago.

I can fix anything if I have enough time, but the old body says, "yeah right you arrogant Moron" LMAO.
