Does anybody know how to deactivate the drl. I disconnected the grey plug next to the battery and the headlights went off but the parking lights stay on. Anyway make them completely off. thanks

Canada Drl

I believe they come on when you release the parking brake.

You might find a contact switch in there.

1st make sure it is Legal in NY State to do that.

I have the same question for the Tacoma. I am looking at ordering one and do NOT want the daytime running lights but I am having the sales staff blow sunshine up my backside that they can not be shutoff. First off the government sucks for edicting this crap but that's the kind of stupid society we live in. I just want control of when I turn my headlights on and off.
