should i get a 3.4 and supercharge it or just get a 4.7?

If you got the 4.7, would you be able to afford the TRD supercharger for that later on? I'd go with the V8 regardless though.

Go with the 4.7 and look at the STS turbo kit should have you at a minimum over 300 RWHP with only 7LBS boost. Better than the supercharger.

Actually are you going for the double cab, extended or standard?

If you doing the double cab, get the V8 if its just the regular or extended get the 3.4...

You can then supercharger it

I'd go with the V8, more torque and it will hold it's value better. I hear the 2005 4.7's are 285hp with the addition of VVTi-L.

285 then turbocharge it that would be more like 400hp that would be a lot of fun
