That very nice tint has got to help MPG!

I just filled her up for the first time yesterday.
So far I got 41 mpg (manual computation - miles driven divided by gal pumped)

Debadged the 'Camry' and 'SE', and used some extra faux carbon fiber vinyl I had. Not even 24 hours of ownership :O

Next will probably be the Toyota emblem in vinyl. Preferably gloss black.

Wish I had the quad tip, would look amazing!

Tinting and minor badge removal.

Had mine about a month now. I had the windows tinted. 5% Ceramic tint all around. I know its dark but living in Florida the more sun I can keep out the better. I also removed the SE badge. I always take some badge off to keep as a memento of all my cars. I can say the Camry letter are held in with tabs. I broke the "C" when trying to remove it. Luckily I was able to glue it back on and you cant tell.

Great idea with the Vinyl. I broke one letter to find out there were tabs holding them. I may have to try doing that.

The vinyl definitely helps hide the holes, with the faux carbon fiber you can't even notice the holes behind it because of the pattern. Will grab a pic in a bit. Gloss black would have been preferable but had the carbon fiber on hand :P

When you guys were removing, did you use a heat gun and fishing line? I didn't manage to break any of the pins, more than likely because the heat gun made the glue very soft.

I personally use the fishing line method which is why I ended up breaking a pin.

Just in case someone is searching this info later...

The 2018 Camry rear "CAMRY" badges 100% have pins! If you debadge, or try to debadge, there will be holes left.

...just wanted to say that for when someone searches for it in the future. I know other people have said it to, but the more the merrier.

Do you have any info on how the rear 18 Camry Toyota emblem is held on? Pins again I'm assuming.

*EDIT*
Found the part # (same as prior years) and compared it to what I found on some links, looks like it's pinned in the 8 and 4 o'clock positions.

Mine is getting tinted on sunday and also was going to do full ceramic all the way around.

Was it worth the price tag?

Ceramic is very nice. But if you can find the 3M Crystalline, go with that. It's a bit more than ceramic, but totally worth it.

Super expensive, but super quality film. Another option (similarly priced as Crystalline) is FormulaOne Stratos. That's Llumar ForumulaOne's new tint film designed to directly compete with (and they'll say outperform) Crystalline. Just another high-end film option

Love the color and the 5% tint really sets it off nicely. I have the same shade tint in my ruby.

I was dead set on white when I went to the dealer. If the white would have had a pearl I would have got it. I'm not a huge fan of gloss white. But when I saw the galactic aqua color I was sold.
