Also, check out Autozone for some pretty good online manuals:

Exclamation '87 Toyota Pickup and I Need Help

Man reading about your trucks has me astonished, if my truck could be that good that would solve alot of problems. I have an '87 Toyota Pickup ExtraCab 2x4 22r. Where would I go or how could I get some pretty cheap but realible parts. I'm a highschool student and alittle short on money. And I want to prove to everyone in my little redneck town that toyotas can run with the chevys, fords, and dodges. (i am the only person that drives a toyota pickup in the entire town, so i catch a whole lot of crap from everyone beating me of the line or down the straight aways and if you couldn't tell i'm asian and so i catch alot of crap about that to mainly because i'm six foot tall though). But I need some help getting parts so if anyone has any idea where i could aquire these parts (and perferable for cheap) that would be big help.

eBay, brother! Be patient, because everything rolls around sooner or later.

heres a really good place to send your injectors when you need them cleaned,http://witchhunter.com/ if your told that they need to be replaced, just send them here because most of the time you can just replace the serviceable parts, and get a good cleaning and be good as new. he does really good work on all kinds of injectors and gives you the before and after flow tests and other goodies and he will put toyota seals and gaskets on if you provide them.

Your User ID indicates you have a 1984. Does you have injectors on your '84? Just curious, because I have an '86, and it has a carb.

http://www.yotashop.com/

This is a great place, ive ordered from before. Great service! I highly recommend, they have a surprising number of harder to find parts.

One thing I noticed about it is whenever your browsing for parts for toyota pickups 22r's at the top is says your browsing for an 82 celica, not a big deal. Definitely worth checking out.

I have an 86 2wd SR5 X-Cab 22RE (fuel injected) 5-speed truck.

* My aftermarket parts source is mostly RockAuto.com. Their prices are cheaper or as cheap as any other online parts site. Have a good selection of manufactures to choose from for each part. Never had a bad or wrong part in 8 years of using them.

* My OEM Toyota parts source is Conicelli Toyota out of PA. I buy sensors (generic aftermarket don't always perform in same range) from them and check their prices to Rock Auto prices. They are friendly and helpful with parts/tech questions as well.

https://parts.conicellitoyotaofconshohocken.com

* For major components like steering gear (3 aftermarket ones did not fit), 3rd members....etc I go online to 'salvage yard search' sites to put in a used parts request. They are cheap and offer a warranty. Got a Toyota OEM power steering gear shipped from WA to VA for $98 and 5 years later still working like new. Those 3 Aftermarket ones were ~$225.

* For used Toyota OEM misc stuff like interior parts I use Ebay. You can find about anything you need there.

* For local used Toyota OEM parts I have used local Pick-n-Pull salvage yard as the are clean and dirt cheap on parts. Selection of vehicles can be limited.

A low mileage used Toyota OEM part is better than many new after market parts and you know it will fit and work properly.

Good luck.
