Unused plug in rear hatch. What is it?

Was installing a back up camera today and came across this unused plug in my hatch. Anyone know what it is

Which year and trim level? Is it actually inside the hatch? I couldn’t see it well in the picture. Things that are in there are license lamps, third brake light, wiper motor, window defogger, lock actuator. What is the wire color code? I’ll try to look it up

Good question as you've peeked my curiosity as to what it's for now. Don't have time to look it up, as the complete electrical schematics on these is 70+ pages, but you can find the pdf of the schematics in the link I'll provide. All you need to do is click on the download icon next to the 4 arrows that expand it, and you'll have it if you ever need it. I downloaded it and scanned it with Norton and it's a clean pdf.

If you figure out what it's for let us know if you could please. Cheers

Maybe for sub-woofer in the premium package?
