What's up with the backend being lower than the front? Was that on purpose or no? It's not noticeable until the last picture.

Hi all

This is my Kluger here in Australia. It is pretty much stock except for a genuine Toyota nudge bar. Does the US and Canadian version have the nudge bar -- I haven't seen any photos of them fitted.

Here in Australia there were four versions: the CV, CVX, Grande and later the CV Sport.

The CV was the base model with steel wheels and the bare basics (7 seats were optional). The CVX got gunmetal alloys (same as mine), leather seats and steering wheel, 6 stack CD, 7 seats as standard, fog lights and roof bars. The Grande had everything incl wood grain trim. The CV Sport (mine) has everything that the CVX has except for leather seats and the six stack CD player. The CV sport did come standard with the rear spoiler though (like the Grande).

This is before a mountain bike session I did today -- the roof rack is a Thule full bike rack (rather than those ones where you have to take the front wheel off the bike).

Cheers

Matt

I used to have bike rack on my last HL but it's a tow hitch style. I always wonder how do people put the bike on top of the car? The bike is super light weight? or you guys are just stronger than a grandpapa like me?

It's the Aussie genes -- we're much stronger

No, actually, it's quite hard to put it on (and off for that matter) especially if the car is on an incline. Once it's on, then it's quite easy to secure. You wouldn't be able to do it if you weren't tall enough. And you always have to remember it's on the roof, I've seen a car driving towards an underground carpark and slice the roof racks/bike right off.

Did you have any issues with putting those wheels on? Like hitting the brake calipers or issues with the center hub? I have an 07 and wanted to put some wheels from a newer highlander on but didnt know if it was a direct swap.
