Blown head gasket??

So my wife's car has been overheating for the past week, kept having to put coolant in the radiator. Checked the hoses, did a pressure test and it held pressure. Then a few days ago car overheated and popped the hood to find low coolant as well as oil coming out of one of the spark plug wires. I pulled the wiring out and found each plug hole completely full of oil... Pulled the valve cover and found some muddy stuff... I emptied the oil pan but didn't find any coolant in it. Anyway, I'm thinking the head gasket may have blown and that's where the coolant had been leaking to? I'm not great at diagnosing but some help would be great before I decide to junk it. Thanks!

Make sure it is not a stuck/defective thermostat which could cause over heating. Another thing to check for is does the radiator fan comes on. Look for leak from water pump area or back of engine. Check if there is white smoke from the tail pipe which is an indication of a head gasket blown. Have a coolant pressure test done. Last have a mechanic check it out and it is confirm that a head gasket replacement is necessary you may try a head gasket sealer.

I changed the thermostat right before it overheated, but no white smoke... I'll try running it longer to see of it starts puffing.

Any bubbles coming up through the coolant in the radiator while the car is running?

If your dipstick shows not translucent/dark oil but a tan, mocha coffee-like color you have yourself a blown head gasket.
