Smile Special Shocks for Sequoia 2009 Air Suspension?

Hi, I have a 2009 Sequoia with the Air Suspension. I need new front and rear shocks which I never changed before. Would I need special shocks for the car, or can I use the normal shocks for any Sequoia? I was searching on amazon.com and seeing shocks with the comment "W/O Auto Levelling", so I guess will not work?? Can anyone advise, or provide part numbers which they have used on their similar cars?

My VIN is 5TDZY68A69S021509

thanks,
Oneel

You need shocks for air suspension models. They are significantly stiffer than the regular shocks. Using the wrong shocks will result in the truck bottoming out constantly.

My Toyota List:

1982 Corolla SR-5 (Shell Right Now)
1988 Cressida 5MGE A/T
2005 Corolla CE 1ZZFE M/T
2005 Sequoia Limited 2UZFE A/T
2008 LS460 SWB RWD 1URFSE A/T

If I helped out in any way please hit the Thanks button under my post.

fronts are 48510-34010 lists for $244.81 each

rear 48080-34020 and 48090-34010 they list for $791.63 each

these are OEM only, no aftermarket is available. there are a number of online suppliers that sell OEM parts at discounted prices

If it was mine, I would get rid of that air suspension stuff and put regular coil overs on it. 800 bucks for one shock is insane.

Those prices are standard retail. Online wholesale prices are below:

Fronts Part #48510-34010 are around $162

https://toyotaparts.mcgeorgetoyota.c...ber-4851034010

Rears Part #48530-34051 are around $425

https://toyotaparts.mcgeorgetoyota.c...ber-4853034051

Add around $30 - 40 for shipping.

Since you have air suspension, you have to use OEM stuff. I would shop the dealers or shops in your area for better installed prices. I am guessing you can get labor down to around $400.
