2010 FJ Cruiser Front Wheel Bearing Replacement
2010 4WD AT, Bought new, 70K miles, Stock, No damage, Mainly highway miles. Drives OK.
I am suspecting a right front wheel bearing failure for a noise coming from underneath. So I searched and educated myself for DIY and purchased a bearing/hub assembly (press fitted) and I started working but I have two questions:
1) According to those instructions, after removing brake caliper, brake rotor supposedly come off from hub freely. Mine doesn't. Is this just stuck by rust (I am in snow country) and tap it to loosen or anything else required for 2010 4WD?
2) Do we need to remove brake rotor first to remove Dust Cover on axle nut?
Thank you in advance.
