Mine is an 06 xrs. It has a throttle linkage at the throttle body iacv.
I didn’t know they had cars with cable actuated throttles as late as 2006. I thought my 2000 MK4 Jetta 2.0 was one of the last ones. I liked the way the revs drop in this car.
I’ll have to keep an eye out for manual 2006 XRS’s later on.

The xrs was the last Corolla in 05-06 with a throttle cable. I have yet to drive a DBW Mt. I can't adapt to iMT mode and rev match. With 20 plus years, don't care for it. It's nice tech, but not for me.
