You responded to my thread about lifting the downstream o2 sensor on a 97 Tacoma 2.4L. It looks like someone has machined a standoff with the same geometry as the sensor flange - is this correct?

Looks to be 0.25" thick - is that enough to lift the downstream o2 sensor out of the exhaust so that the sensor becomes basically useless?

I am familiar with using a pair of spark plug the anti-foulers to lift an o2 sensor out of the exhaust mainstream, but I thought it lifted it significantly higher than 0.25".

Just wanted to clarify the intent of your post and of the product you reference is supposed to perform the job I am looking for.
