Agree with going with the extra level assurance-thanks. So far Toyota Part Deal.com and Toyota Overstock which looks like Lakeland Toyota are 173.00 each an 183.00 for Boch Toyota plus 5.00 discount over 200. Any experience with the first two in terms of being reputable? I recall some time...

    Avalon 2nd Generation (2000-2004)
Plan on replacing both Knock Sensors on 03 Avalon with 150 K miles along with coolant hose, wire harness, gaskets. Looking for the replacement sensors and I have found cheap DENSO's (part 89615-12090) on Amazon and expensive DENSO's on dealer parts websites. Any recommendations in terms of the...

    Avalon 2nd Generation (2000-2004)
Replaced both A/F sensors and cleared the codes. Drove the car and no CEL and also checked with engine code tester and no codes showing. Will keep an eye on gas mileage-performance seems better and mileage in town starting to improve. Need to take it out on the freeway and see what happens...
  10. Codes P0330,P0135, P0155

    Avalon 2nd Generation (2000-2004)
Fuse Ok. Would have to test relay but no outward signs of issues eg; melted plastic etc. I suspect that the sensors have been gradually failing and triggered the knock code? I looked back at the service history and they have never been changed. I have ordered the new sensors through amazon...

  15. Fluid leak front cross member

    Avalon 2nd Generation (2000-2004)
The coolant level in the resevoir has not changed noticeably. I too thought it might be coolant however the color is not red-I guess the color could change from gunk in the hoses and radiator. What I cannot figure out is where this is coming from-it has to be dripping into the cross member at...

    Avalon 2nd Generation (2000-2004)
