Eben, don't know how old you are but 30 years ago, I bought an '86 Jade Green 5-speed MR2...BEST car I have EVER had! Talk about fun. I was working in downtown Chicago and remember driving in on the Eisenhower and noticed people were turning and looking at the car as they passed me. It was a differently styled car for its time. It wasn't fast but it was quick. Just point and shoot and the car responded. One day after work, I removed the sunroof, put it in the trunk, got in the 2 and headed home. As I got to Lake street (hooker heaven back then), a lady of the evening was at the corner where I was going to turn. She asked me 'Can I get a ride in a cute car with a cute guy'? All I could do was smile and go on my way. I wish I could tell more stories, but what happens in an MR2, stays in an MR2.

Sorry for late reply. Don't I wish I had that kind of fortune lol! Honestly the car scares me. Drove in wet weather and slid instantly. I'm working on dialing in the suspension. I want to put on all the T3 bits but read that kind of thing for a daily is a no no and causes stress cracks on mounting points. Trying to get a confirmation on this. Other than that, I'm liking it. Going to do my best to preserve it.

Looks really clean. Get some good tires on it before anything else!

I don't know about the T3 stuff causing cracking, it hasn't on mine but it really only sees track use. Two places to watch for cracking are the sway bar bushings and front engine mount. Usually shows up on cars with lots of time driving aggressively.
